The month of January is host to the National Western Stock Show and that makes it the perfect time to reflect on Colorado's heritage, history, and to honor indigenous voices of the west. We've selected Woman of Light by local Colorado author Kali Fajard-Anstine as our book club selection for January. Join us in reading a dazzling epic of betrayal, love, and fate that spans five generations of an indigenous Chicano family in the American West.

The official Fiction Beer CO book club meets monthly—usually on the third Monday of each month. We meet at 7:00 pm in the Denver taproom. What we do: drink beers and talk about the book. Discussion questions help guide and focus the discussion; however, going off topic is encouraged.

We have a great mix of gregarious bookish folks mixed with introverted bookish folks and we happily welcome new people into the fold.
