We brewed a beer with the Denver Public Library (DPL) and the Friends Foundation (DPLFF) for the launch of their Winter of Reading program! Join us for the draft and can release of Book Nook Spiced Cream Ale on Saturday, January 6th @ 12pm! Book Nook Spiced Cream Ale is a collaborative project with the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation. This beer is crafted with a blend of winter spices and aims to evoke a sense of coziness, reminiscent of sitting by a warm fireplace with a good book in hand. Enjoy it at home while diving into your next library book! By purchasing this ale, you are supporting Denver Public Library's mission to create welcoming spaces where all are free to explore and connect.
Winter is a time for reading. A time for cozy fires and soft blankets. A time for beer! It is with these mental illustrations that our friends at the Denver Public Library helped craft this libation. Like the soft glow of a flame, our cream ale will envelope you with its warm familiarity. Pilsner malt and flaked corn are the primary ingredients used to create a welcoming palate for the earthy embrace of delicately used spices. Cinnamon and clove play off the crisp sweetness of our cream ale to evoke a fireside sentiment. Medium-bodied, with a light cracker crisp malt character and subtle hop notes. This unconventional winter warmer was designed to be enjoyed with a good book in a cozy spot. Stay Warm!
5% of all sales of the Winter of Reading launch beer will be donated to the DPL Friends Foundation.
